Together with wall-art and reports, while at COX Architecture I have developed a complete wayfinding system together with the great Graphics team. This was created for the upcoming carpark at the Rooty Hill RSL. Core to my role was to ensure consistency, efficiency and effectiveness for the wayfinding system. This meant dedicating a significant amount of time to the definition of a sign location plan, before to move on to the sign type drawings.
Both the activities require a team effort and clear communication with clients. Another integral part of my work has been to apply the Australian Standards appropriately (i.e. AS/NZS 2890.6-2009 – Parking AS 1428.1-2009 – Access & Mobility AS 3745-2010 – Planning for Emergency AS 1319-1994 – Safety Signs for the occupational environment).
